Dirty Tricks

I've found a job to apply for on a board.
It provides post and view counts as you would expect.
I'm wondering if view counts may deter a few people.

Thanks for the offer but I think I've done enough now. I've pushed it up to a good sized number, but one that shouldn't be too obvious as being massaged. Besides it's on a private board that you can't just sign up to.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Showing page-counts is bad practice, although it is easiest. You really should display unique visits.

I've clicked up to what could be considered a normal number for a popular job. This job is not so popular and the number has been reached a little earlier than expected. ;)

I'm just hoping karma doesn't come into it.

I just learnt about Help Nathan buy firefly. Sounded like a great idea (similar to equity for punks)
totally would have paid into that.

Yeah.
Just a shame it was nothing to do with him.

One of my work colleagues was leaving yesterday after her four month stint in GP. She gave me a box of chocs (thorntons). I've just opened it (strip of tape on each side) and there's a choc missing from the corner.

Questions running through my mind:

1. Is this a leftover box where someone has eaten one, then resealed and handed to me?
2. Is this an accident where a choc escaped as it was in the corner?
3. Did I drop it (looked around and couldn't see one)?
4. Should I chuck it in the bin as it has clearly been compromised?
5. Should I just shut up and eat it?

5. Shut up and eat them

Edit:

6. Send them to me for destructive testing.

Some wag on Jalopnik just posted this with regard to the short period of Argentinian occupation of the Falklands, when the traffic was switched to the right hand side of the road (where it should be):

"So when the Argentinians came they left directions that the left was wrong and the right was right, the British who were left wanted to go left as they didn't feel it was right to go right.
Though thankfully the Argentinians left with their right ways which were wrong leaving the British in the right on the left.
Right?"

The Hotmail Android app's search option is hopeless. Though I'm not surprised tbh

I'm expecting the traffic on the M1 and M25 to be particularly bad today.

Looking at the specs, I think I know what Dixons do with old laptops ;)

What's that hand gun John Travolta's character uses in the film Broken Arrow?

Mark

That was about the fourth suggestion when I typed 'John Travolta Broken Arrow'.
Internet says Beretta 93R.
