Morning all,

Month end shenanigans out of the way, and straight into an argument with the operations manager.

A couple of grand of stock has gone missing from the yard, and he insists it must be an error by one of my staff; one of the most fastidious and efficient members of my team. Nothing to do with the fact that a wagon reversed into the gates and damaged them at the beginning of the month, making it impossible to secure the bottom of the yard; and it was a full week before they were repaired! FFS!

Get your own house in order before you think about poking my staff in the chest, boy!

Evening all.

Finally managed to get out and cut the grass. Was getting rather long. Roll on the rain again.

Enjoy what's left of the day folks.

Morning all.

It's raining again. That makes a change. Got a bit fed up with the sunshine yesterday.

In other news our phone lines are out. The whole area is offline. Luckily, being on cable interwebs, I could report the fault and still have some connection with the outside world.

I really need to chase up some things today. I have let them drag on too far, I think.

Onwards and splashwise.

Morning,

Set off extra early this morning so I could make in-roads into my report, before the office and phones got busy. That plan was scuppered when I found myself behind a car transporter, whose driver was unconditionally wed to his sat nav. The ever narrowing back roads should have been a clue, but he was convinced his little gadget would steer him right.

It didn't.

Cue (or queue) scenes of a dozen cars backing up a quarter of a mile so this pillock can park it in a pub carpark, all the while staring confusedly at the surrogate for common sense sitting on his dashboard.

Have a sensible one. ;)

I won't comment on the weather.

Looking forward to a short week and long weekend. Off from Thursday and worked from home yesterday. I started at 7.30am and finished at 3pm and had time to knock up 2 cakes before relaxing for the evening.

Have a good one all.

C

Afternoon all.

Developing a really impressive headache at the moment. Hopefully the ibuprofen will put a stop to that.

Have a great day folks.
