Even.

Amongst other things, I did install Lubuntu 12.04 in the end; it is much better than Mint LXDE edition. Oh and I pared my Farcebook "friends" down from 332 to 175.

All-in-all, a very productive weekend. 8-)

Morning all.

Lovely start to the day, until 6am when it decided to stop being sunny and start raining.

Let's hope it gets a bit better by lunch.

Morning all.

How can it be this bleeding cold in the middle of May? Could whoever removed the weather control crystals please return them to the environmental control department immediately, no questions will be asked.
In other news, American Reunion hit all the right nostalgia buttons as far as I was concerned. A thoroughly enjoyable film (probably for those in a specific age bracket).

Have a great day folks.

Morning.

Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning. That's the cats. Me? I'm half asleep and bleary-eyed.

We're out buying a new sat nav today. What fun. :?

I also discovered a brilliant tee-shirt site which may find some of my hard-earned heading its way soon. I'll stick a link elsewhere.

Onwards and sideways.

Morning all.

There appears to be a glowing ball in the sky. Anyone know what it is?

We've got guests in the office today so it's been tidied up. However we've just remembered we placed some massive orders yesterday so have about 40 boxes of kit coming in.

oops

Good morning all,

What a glorious start to the day. Long may it continue, I need to leave the car windows open to dry out one of the rear footwells. All is not well with the offside passenger door seal, or so it would seem.

SWMBO has been bargain hunting, and spotted a fireplace/electric fire suite in the local ads. We need a focal point in the sitting room, she says. That's what the TV is for, I said.

I lost.

Still, it looks like it's brand new - obviously bought to add a little appeal to a house sale; but the new owners don't want a fireplace. so they stuck it up for £30 just to get shot of it. I googled the model number when we got home, and it's still on sale for £500! :o
