Come on Apple!
I'm now going into the last month of a 24 month contract I took out when I got my iPhone 4 on launch day June 24th 2010.
I have had my iPhone 4 longer than any other phone I have had before it and there is still no word on an upgrade from the 4S.
Even just a sneak peek or some sort of PR, anything!
So far all I've had is rumours and more rumours! The rumours are beginning to get dull and repetetive now! Come on!
OK, so June 11-15 is WWDC, they better fricking announce something then!

You're not wrong. I was planning on buying a Macbook Air but given the number of rumours that Apple *book range will be revamped for an announcement at WWDC I've decided to wait and see until then. Is it the Anderson affect it's called?

It's the new mac pro I'm waiting for. I've finished my contract, but I reckon my iPhone 4 will do me another couple of years.

I'm waiting as well. My iPhone 4 is of course fine, but the Wench is rather keen to get her hot little hands on it as and when I've finished with it, and that's as good an excuse to upgrade as I am likely to need.

October 4, 2011 was the event for the iPhone 4S launch. Don’t expect anything before that kind of date this year. iOS devices tend to have a life span of about a year.
I, too, am waiting for Mac Pro details (though mine has plenty of life in it - I just want to know the range is not dead) and new MacBooks (which rumours say will have retina displays). Fincal Cut Pro X is starting to tell me that my current laptop has unsupported video hardware.

But the only reason it was released in October is due to the delay in getting some parts to work. In fact, there hasn't been a standard set for the iPhone as each release has been a completely different length of time from the previous version. iPhone - ... iPhone 2 - 153 days iPhone 3G - 156 days iPhone 3GS - 333 days iPhone 4 - 381 days iPhone 4S - 467 days OK, so we're only at 232 since the last release at the moment but if the 4S had been "on time" we'd be easily over 300 now.

Regardless, that appears to show releases are slowing down if anything.
