It's no good now. I wanted to sell my copy of CODBLOPS when it was still relatively new, and before people realised it was sh!te.

Will be interesting if someone does take a Co to court over selling an old game that has limited activations

Through a service like Steam, it would be pretty straightforward. They do occasionally let you gift old games to other people (with steam accounts). The other side of the transaction would be simply transferring funds into your Steam Wallet.

So how will that affect plans for digital distribution on the next generation of consoles? Weren't they trying to stamp out second hand games sales?

There was gossip, probably scumbags testing the water. If they ever enacted it they'd lose an absolute fortune in the long run and many a developer/publisher would see sales plummet.

I know that, you know that, every man and his dog knows that. But games companies still bleat on about it.
