Morning.

Having rearranged my studio space again, I think I might have to get on with this crumb of work I have in hand.

Glad to see Curiosity has made it safely down to Gale Crater. A most audacious landing design, which has been pulled off successfully by NASA. Well done chaps. Looking forward to the next decade!*

*The two small rovers were only meant to last 90 days when they landed in 2004, but Opportunity is still actively exploring. Curiosity is designed for a two year exploration, but who know?

Morning all. Really enjoying being employed again. I think it definitely suits me more than academia.

Morning all

Got the day off, but I nipped in early this morning to finish up a report. Only took about an hour but, just as I was leaving, one of the production managers came in and said the plant computer was acting up. "what do you know about DOS?" he said.

A dust clad 486 was running the whole plant. The com ports were dead on the mobo, so I dropped the drive and RAM into an identical machine, and now I'm the second coming of christ! You gotta love technophobes.

Morning.

What else to say? Not a lot.

Onwards and sideways.

Morning all. Missed my normal train again this week because of having to rush out with the bins, and then the shuttle was full when I got here. Luckily someone on the team I'll be working on after I've finished my induction spotted me, which was nice, so I was able to get a cab with other employees rather than the bus. Company-funded transport FTW!

Busy day today, could really do without having to go to site but I may have found a way to avoid it (as there's no point me going there today)

Morning.

Meh. Tired. Not sure why, because I haven't been doing anything particularly strenuous this past few days.
