Don't know anything about those patents specifically, but I wish more judges would declare some patents 'obvious'.

Apparently Samsung's legal battles have not gone well. They have not made a penny from them, but the lawyers are doing well. Quite frankly the fact that some of the patents were described as obvious really makes the patent system look like a disaster. It should not have been granted to anyone in the first place.

Totally. You would have thought that they are either trying to get the other block from the market but it will not work. I love my iPhone 5 but I do not criticise others for picking a Samsung instead. Each to their own. The iPhone does what I want and that is all I care about. It syncs easily and there are plenty of accessories for it.
