We've long been at the point where even if an older gentleman dies of natural causes, everyone will just assume Team Putin did him in is the safer bet

He was SIXTY SEVEN. Sixty seven year old men die every freaking day. 'Man nearly in his 70's dies' is not a bloody news story, unless someone wants to spin a conspiracy theory out of it.

Lol, what are you telling me for? I mentioned that in my OP, it's just that many are naturally gonna wonder whether Russia did for him. This is a country that's trying a dead man in court

Probability does make this most likely to be natural causes. Russians drink a lot and the life expectancy is not that high for most men, though billionaires with access to private trainers etc and you would have thought that he would be healthier. Though the trumpeter who did all the Bond films died yesterday and he was younger. Still will not satisfy some. ;)

Found dead in his bath by the reports. Reminds me of how the Romans used to comit suicide - sit in bath (or equivilent) and open-up your veins and just slip away.

The reports say he was in financial trouble so suicide looks most likely explanation.

Right. That doesn't sound at all like you putting forward the conspiracy theories at all then.

I saw elsewhere that it is being treated as suicide. Though if the autopsy turns up polonium then a complicated suicide becomes possible. ;)

Won't be Polonium - that takes quite a while to kill you.

I'm not putting anything forward as a theory, just making a point. That's why I typed what I did in my OP.

I was kidding, but if he had money problems it makes sense.
