TBF, these are the executives who decided to set up a movie studio because they were quite good at in-game cutscenes.

Have been back on Borderlands 2. Apart from the constant need to open boxes, crates and containers it's a cracking game.

I think I got a trophy for opening 25,000 crates or something

Poker Night 2 - shocking. Uses various characters (Borderlands, Ash from Evil Dead) as the players around a Texas Hold 'Em table. That sounds brilliant, until you realise that nothing they say is remotely funny or interesting, and there's quite the delay between their movements and audio. The actual details of the round you're playing get totally lost in every sense.

Retro City Rampage - not as funny as it thinks it is and there's far too many visual distractions onscreen. This is unusual considering the graphics are actually worse than a Master System's. A cover system when your character's almost indistinguishable from the scenery? NOTHING about it pleases on any level.

Germinator Arcade - utterly impossible bubble shooter, relies on 'charged' shots that are so infrequent that firing it at the wrong time will mean you'll lose that entire round, effectively.

The Last of Us - two hours in and I'm liking it, but it's all very predictable so far :|

Kerbal Space Program. Lured me in with funny looking characters and rocket building and is now melting my brain with orbital manoeuvres and such.

A friend at work is playing also, only he seems completely incapable of building a rocket without it turning into a fireball! I tried to point him in the right direction with a video I made. I use a top down approach which pretty much stages everything in the correct order first time - just need to change the initial ignition order so the launch stability enhancers don't let go before the engines fire.

The Last of Us - gave up, couldn't take any more of the crap controls and the endless dying in depressing scenery.

Remember Me - Good idea, but so full of it's own ambition that it forgot the basics like a combo system that involves more than square and triangle (I kid you not), or that when you're pressing those buttons your character should actually react!

The camera gets way too close to your character when it's not flying around, and it tries way too hard with the Tron effects sometimes.

Shame. It's just got more influences than it knows what to do with, so nothing stands out :(

God of War: Ascension - Over 2Gb of patches and the game's still utterly FUBAR'd; The sound drops out, the game freezes when Kratos is running, freezes after his death, nearly grinds to a halt at other times... Time for a refund. It's a fcuking disgrace that the game still hasn't been fixed after all these months, never mind being released in that state!

Finished BioShock Infinite. Crazy ending. One of those that might have you reaching for the wiki if you haven't been paying attention though.

One down, loads more to go!
