http://www.aintitcool.com/node/41525It's not a show I've ever gotten into, but I know we have some heavy-duty TV watchers round these parts, so...

Well it's a very well written show (certainly has improved over the last 3 seasons) and you should give it another go. Great spin on characters you know, and plenty you don't. Not to mention lots of fan favourites from the obvious to the more obscure, peppered all over the place.
I'm watching the movie if there is one and I'd love to see Welling in the cape!

I stopped watching it after it got all wierd with the multiple clones.
The 'meteor freak of the week' annoyed me no end as it made clark seem less 'special'. Also annoyed by the whole Lana/Clark thing.
I watched a coupla eps where Clark and the justice league do some stuff and it was good for a while but it then deteriorated into mindless drivel.
This is a show that could easily have been a max of four seasons.

I gave up on The Shield mid-way into season 3, it was getting too silly. They had some excellent characters, but the story about Vic and the others was dominating and taking the series downhill very rapidly. A shame, it started out well. I think I've seen about 2 episodes of Smallville, the season finale, when Zod came to Earth and another, where Lex was about to be killed by an ex-girlfriend... But it is on Saturday afternoons, so I'm rarely around to watch it anyway.

I still haven't gotten round to watching the final series Yes, I'd say it was still one of the best things on TV, but it probably would have been better if it had focused a bit more on the 'supporting cast'...

Smallville to end after season 10I really like this show, and while at the end of season nine it was riding high, and it's always good for a show to go out on a high, I will miss this show. If it's able to wrap up previous story threads started in past seasons as well as finally give us the blue & red Man of Steel and also deliver on the very much hinted at Justice League it'll still be missed in my televisual viewing schedule. Mark EDIT - Stupid URL. I'm working on the link. EDIT2 - URL fixed.

Out of curiosity, do you know if they ever considered Batman or Wonder Woman for the show? And which villain's your favourite if you don't mind me asking? You can tell I don't watch it, can't you?

Batman, no. I don't think so. I think that character was being concentrated on for the films so the Smallville people never went near it. I think Wonder Woman was considered, but at that stage I think Joss Whedon was working on his film script for that project so that character was also fairly quickly dropped from the roster. How could I possibly like any other villain over that of Michael Rosenbaum's Lex Luthor?!? (8+) Mark

Waaaaa it started last night on E4 and I missed it. (8+( Anyone know if it's repeated? I know I can get it on 4oD but I'm looking for a TV repeat ideally.

Will it not be repeated on 'ordinary' Four, or is that way off?
