Wreck-It Ralph - honestly don't know what to make of this. It's a bit of a mish-mash with video game references, jokes for adults, cutesy Disney tropes and occasional songs, jumping in and out of different realities, nods to camera etc. When it works it's great, but it's maybe crowbarring too much in.

Goodbye Pork Pie

This was recommended to me by a native, and although there are a few bizarre moments I did enjoy it overall and had a bloody good laugh at the finale.

Jump - Ulster's cheap version of Pulp Fiction. There's the odd dark laugh but that's it.

Serpico - Good but needlessly drawn out in places.

Django Unchained - It's watchable but it's needlessly drawn out. I couldn't say I'd ever watch it again and I'd probably tell someone else to find something else rather than spend the time.

Anchorman 2 - if you enjoyed the first one then it's worth a watch but not quite in the same league and while there is a little extra after the credits it's really not worth it.
In addition, there is stuff in the trailer that's not actually in the cinema release at all so I'd expect there to be an extended DVD/Blu ray edition whenever that comes out.

If you want to see it then I'd wait for the DVD/BR to come out.

47 Ronin. Unfortunately the release we watched was in 3D and my date didn't realise until we had arrived. The alternative was to kill three hours and then watch it. 3D brought nothing to this film and it was most effective when there was the odd branch or plant in the foreground. Having said that, I didn't get the headaches i normally get with 3D.

It had an okay plot and an okay storyline. The action in some areas felt OTT for the type of film it was. Despite Keanu Reeves in the film, it didn't feel like he was the main star. None of the characters did and I don't know if this was down to direction/writing or limitations of the lore it was all based on. He had slightly more emotion than as Neo in the Matrix. The whole thing took too long and the pace was a little slow.

The film didn't leave me feeling "wow" or "I wanna be Ronin", or even "I wanna be Keanu reeves". But if I got it on DVD/BluRay as a present, I wouldn't mind. Compare this to Man of Steel which I would return for a refund or exchange.

I saw it yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Typical Tarrantino and he always said he wanted to do a Western so I guess that's now ticked off his list.

The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty

Go and see it. 8.5/10, I reckon. Superb movie.
Quite a few themes in it that I really identify with though, so if you're not a single middle aged dude that works in a photographic based job and often day dreams about what he'd like to be doing, you might feel different. ;)

Fire with Fire - Stupendously stupid. It's like one of those 67p Kindle 'novels' that are about 100 pages long. The sort of thing where someone gets gun training just before it all kicks off. Mind you, if your teacher can almost hit a concealed target from hundreds of feet away with a 9mm pistol...

It's basically a load of people collecting a paycheck; Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson, Vincent D'onofrio... I can sum it up quickly by saying that both Vinnie Jones and 50 Cent are in it.

47 Ronin is only showing in 3D at my local pictures, so I'll not be going to see that.

Go and see The Secret Life of Walter Mitty instead of wasting your cash on Keanu.

Die Hard 5 - it really is as bad as I'd heard, couldn't even finish it it's so stilted. Having John McClane be the butt of the jokes is not how you make a Die Hard movie, not even an average one. There were parts of it that were closer to Hudson Hawk!

Drug War - Remember how everyone told you Drive was brilliant... ;)

This is another character drama without the character. Or drama. It moves quickly but you've got no reason to care about anyone involved.

+1. As a chemist and someone who has used radioactivity for over 8 years in various forms I was particularly incensed by the whole thing towards the end of the film with the highly flammable spray on (or rather it was apparently a gas) radioactivity remover. But yes, as a film it's a somewhat ignominious entry into the Die Hard franchise. It made 4.0 look amazing.
