Barclays should sue their arse.
On a similar note I saw the Umbrella Corp. logo on a car two days ago.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I'm having one of those weeks where things that pop into my head later show up in the press or whatever - so far it's been Power Rangers (new movie) and forgotten indie band Reef (amazingly still going, have just taken on Ronnie Wood's son).

That used to happen all the time with The Simpsons. I'd chat about a funny scene with friends and then that evening it would be the episode with the specific scene. Drove me nuts.

Tour De France. Literally passing a short walk from my house. I expect the area will be full of people wanting to get a look. I'm hoping I can get to stand by the zebra crossing and pick off a few shots with a camera.

Photos will be hard, they tend to pass by at close to 40 kph on flat. Find a bend or a ill for a good view

I used to do a lot of motorsport photography. With the right technique, you can get perfectly clear photos even when the object is doing well over a ton.

Two more leaflets from UKIP through the door today. This pisses me off, not just because it's UKIP, but also because the other parties have so far done nothing.
Leaflet count: UKIP:3 Labour:0 Conservatives:1 LibDems:0 Some other anti EU party:1
Also, UKIP have had busting up in the high street. You may not agree with their policies, but boy are they communicating, and putting the other local parties to shame. None of the others seem to be bothering. I assume they all think that the Conservatives will win, so aren't bothering much. However, if UKIP's presence and publicity gets translated into votes, then I expect them to make a significant dent here.
EDITED- I rememberered that we did get a leaflet from the Tories. There was an unconvincing group shot of Cameron + candidates that and in no way been thrown together in Photoshop by the kid on workfare.

Recently I'm looking at video game graphics and thinking, 'they should look much better at this point.' It doesn't matter what system it's running on and I don't know why I'm so struck by it now, but I think we need more artists/designers sitting with/leading the coders. Everything still looks the same.
