You should have said you were going! If you find yourself in mellieha try and visit the Maxima lido ghadira bay. My cousin and his wife run the place. In fact, I think their family owns the beach! Tell them you know John Vella from Manchester and you might even get a discount Enjoy your holiday! Sent from my big ass Sony Xperia Z Ultra tabphonelet, using Tapatalk 4.

Far from it actually I've got more batteries than an Ann Summers party and none of them 'match', or at least sufficiently.

Pain. Lots of it! Did the Oxfam Trailtrekker Challenge yesterday and really aching like a b@stard today. Started at Skipton, up to Malham then over Malham Cove and Fountains Fell then down into Horton-in-Ribblesdale. We "only" did the 40km which took us 11 hours over some really tricky terrain, felt more like mountaineering in places! Some nutters were going on, walking through the night and this morning to complete 100km. They must be mad, it nearly finished me off just doing the 40km. Still, nice enough medal... Still short on donations, so if anyone feels the urge to sponsor us, I can PM them the link.

That I'm sick of trailers - Edge of Tomorrow was supposed to start 15 minutes ago.

I don't mind 3-4 trailers. I do mind sitting through 40 mins of trailers just to watch a film.

We absolutely did enjoy our holiday! We didn't make it to Mellieha, except to pass it on a boat cruise, but it is a fabulous place, one of our friends is Maltese so we stayed in the house he owns in St Pauls Bay and had a brilliant time.

When we'll see the Strike games make a comeback (Desert, Jungle etc).

I used to love them. Played desert strike and jungle strike. Certainly the latter was far superior. I never played the others. We're they any good in comparison?

Urban Strike introduced timed, IIRC, third person shootouts (Hotline Miami sorta scale) and was generally quite good. The PS games (Soviet and Nuclear) were ridiculously tough and had FMV IIRC. I never really got anywhere with those.

Only just seen this. Glad you had a good time. Received an email this morning, regarding a job I applied for last week. Apparently I've been shortlisted, which could be good...
