Finally got the MVP today (delivered friday but noone in to sign for it so had to wait until today to pick it up) Wow, this is something else from vaping on the Ego v v2, it's a much cleaner and consistent fire, the existing t3s I've got are great and it seems even the old mediocre juice I had is better (some of it anyway) Also got a delivery of Liqua... 30mls each of Vanilla, energy drink (been comparing brands with this as they all seem to be going for red bull), berry mix (for the protank 2) and 10ml of menthol (saw on POTV you can mix it with some others like the Hangsen apple I'm not overly keen on for a better vape) Not even triet the iClear 30 yet but look forward to seeing how it performs

Tried the iclear 30
Very unimpressed, left it a while to steep and it just didn't perform to my expectations, vape was moderate, flavour was a bit poor and I think it's leaking too so leaving it a day to see what state it's in but the vape was not great and quite florally
Did however order myself a Tobeco Aqua clone (at least I hope it's a tobeco) for the huge sum of £17 and will have that in a month or so to play with.
Need to practice coiling heads myself for the PT2/T3s's as I've got a load needing to be recoiled and I've started to run out of the ready made wick and wire combos! Got some silica wick but no kanthal as the FT stuff I bought was oh so considerately twisted into a fig 8 and snapped in the middle when using it
Edit: Just checked the iClear 30, more leaks than Assange's inbox. Will clean it up, check the o-rings and give it another try later this week

Just got an order through from DarkStar Vapour http://www.darkstarvapour.co.uk/Really good new offer, £1.50 a bottle of UK made liquid (went for pretty much all the fruit flavours, not tried baccy flavours yet), the lime is really good, not keen on the strawberry, I think it tastes a little weak

Just posted this on another forum, but as there are a few vapers here, I thought someone may be able to help: | | | | On another forum, John wrote: Hi, I'm looking for a rebuildable, and need some suggestions. I've been told that Kayfun are good, which I won't dispute as I don't know any better, but the array of clones available, (I can't afford an original) is disturbingly large, and I was hoping that someone could steer me in the direction of a reliable and preferably cheap clone. Or, if anyone has any other suggestions for a reliable, inexpensive rebuildable that would also be really useful. Thanks, in advance. Edit to add: I forgot to mention that I have the itaste mvp v2.0 if that makes any difference. | | | | |

I think https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/100 ... izer-4-5ml was one of the best. I'm waiting for one to arrive

Certainly looks nice. You'll have to let me know what it's like. I won't be getting one for a couple of weeks anyway, until I get paid, so plenty of time for a review

I've got 2 kayfun clones I'm getting rid of if you're not keen on the wait, got a Taifun GT and to me it looks much better on my device (Hana Modz 30W clone in billet aluminium), one of them is that device in fact as a Kayfun Lite clone (bought elsewhere) the other one is https://www.fasttech.com/p/1630300 (build quality is much better on that one, threads are decent on that one). The GF is also insiting I have a clear out as I've currently got 3 drippers, 4 rbas (2 kayfuns, the taifun and an Aqua), 3 (well 2 I know where they are) mechs, 2 pv/pw devices (mvp2 and the onne above) and a load of protank bits and spares... Lost my Nemesis + kick the other day just after the 3d hybrid dripper arrived , think it's in the house but not a clue where! did pick up a couple of mechs for dripping (panzer and a King v2 in brushed finish) not keen on the Panzer but want to practice my coils as a good coil + cotton is great

I ended up getting a kayfun clone from Amazon, (link to follow) and I'm very impressed. I got a mate at work, who makes his own coils, to give me a quick tutorial, and I'm happy with the result. Apparently I need to buy some cotton balls and thicker wire, but I'll experiment with this stuff for a while. My next question will be for flavour suggestions, but that's for another thread. Thanks for your help, everyone. Sent from my big ass Sony Xperia Z Ultra tabphonelet, using Tapatalk 4.

What resistance are you aiming for? I got some 1.5 ohm wire sections from ft and am currently playing with dual coils (although if I can be bothered I might try a quad)

Cotton balls are cheap at Holland & Barratt, 2 packs of organic (unbleached) for about £4, will probably last you at least a year!

I really don't know what resistance I'm after at the moment. I git some. 22 kanthal but wasn't really impressed. We tried doubling up which improved out, but a mate at work is bringing some. 3 and cotton in on Monday to experiment.
I got some cotton balls from Sainsbury's, as they are meant to be Ok, after they're boiled.

What mod are you using with it? If it's regulated you need to see what the lowest resistance it'll fire on and plan around that.

I'll be using it mainly on the itaste mvp 2 but occasionally on the "triple b" which is my home made box mod. The itaste can go down to 0.8 ohms, I've read, but we'll have a play with it at work tomorrow.

Yeah the MVP is about .8, hold down the power/voltage buttons next to the display at the same time to get an idea of the resistance of the attached device
