That Bluetooth (the technology) was named after Bluetooth (the Norse king).

That jonbwfc has a picture of a fennec fox as his avatar. I only know this because Mrs V. saw the image and said "Kinnell, is that meant to be a dog?!" so I looked at the image source, and I have learned something new.

:D

Speaking of which, your Tamagotchi hasn't evolved very much.

There were two other (unaired) pilots of The Big Bang Theory.

One is slightly different - pretty much the only difference was the Genius Sperm Bank scene.

The other was completely different - no Penny, Howard or Raj. We have Katie (a sort of slutty Penny), and Gilda (a cross between Howard and Amy).

I watched one of them on YouTube a while back. I think it was the one with the two girls. Not as funny as the new pilot.

I actually thought it was funnier than the aired pilot, but I don't think it would have had the same longevity.

The problem is that we've had 7 or 8 years of the current cast, and we've seen them develop. It's too easy to compare a, (rejected) pilot to a long running show with an established group of characters.

I had a look on youtube last night and the only one I could see had katie and leonard. Not seen that one before but it was quite funny.

1. Although there's a campaign for people to see their GPs for ongoing coughs in order to have X-rays for possible lung tumours, 15% result in a false negative (ie missed tumour). Didn't realise the figure was that high.

2. The girlfriend has suddenly changed her mind about kids after spending time with her cousin's family and their children. The number of kids originally went from 10 down to 5, and after the last few days, down to 1.

Unlikely. She's already told me she wants a child by the time she's 30. She's 29 now and her birthday's in April. Which means she's gonna get pregnant in the next 8-9 months. Whether I want her to or not.
