I first met the word Synaesthesia a little while ago. Today I met the word MisophoniaIt's nice to know that they're both a thing and that I'm not mental

Check out one of my favourite words: "apophenia" and while you're at it: "pareidolia".
They're wicked.

Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix, both members of the 27 club, were lovers.
They died three weeks apart.

That Mr Juncker would like it if we formed an EU army to repel Russian aggression or worse. We sh1t on it the second he said it. I can't tell if it's a good idea or not, but I certainly don't trust the EC.

The problem is, the EU is the biggest trading block in the World and only behind China(?), AFAIK. Its domestic product is certainly larger than the USA, for example, I think China is probably larger.
On the other hand, none of the countries within the EU is powerful enough, in military terms, to fend off a powerful enemy (Russia, USA, China etc.) and there is no real tight coordination between the different countries in the event of an emergency. I can understand why they want it, I'm not sure whether it is a good idea.

That Windows 10 will be free for a year which means I should be able to pick it up in summer if it stays on schedule. Surely to Coke it'll be better than 8...

The Technical Preview has been very good, so far. Still a lot of time for Microsoft to screw it up though.
