Hitler reacts to Star Wars : The Force Awakens trailer
I should state for the record that as yet, I haven't actually seen the trailer for the film.

The Most Hilariously Damning Review Of The Original Star Wars
It's easy, with hindsight, to look back and point at the crazy in the corner with dissenting views, but I don't actually think that the points he makes are that out of order.
History gives us rose-tinted spectacles through which we find it hard to remove and see things as they really are.

Star Wars: Some rumours 'are true'

Quote:
JJ Abrams says that some of the rumours are true.

The director was hosting the Irish Oscar Wilde awards in Los Angeles where actress Carrie Fisher was being honoured.

Fisher reprises her role of Princess Leia in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is scheduled for release in December 2015.

The film reunites her with original co-stars Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford.

[...]

"There are a ton of rumours - some true, some false. But I'm grateful for everyone who would want to read a spoiler because it means that they care and want to see the movie."

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-31548370

I’m one of those people who, if at all possible, wants the same feeling I got when I saw the original Star Wars at the cinema. I knew very little if anything, about what it was about other than the stuff they told you on programmes like Swap Shop, and to be honest, I want to be wowed again. So I am trying to avoid as many spoilers as possible in the hope that he can recapture that feeling and amaze me with something new in a well trodden universe.

I liked what he did in his first Star Trek film - he gave it the right kind of feel, the right “bounce” if you like, and I avoided spoilers like crazy for that one.

I do read spoilers for a lot of things, but for stuff I really care about, I avoid them like the plague. Dr Who, Star Trek, Star Wars are on that list.

I saw the trailer on the big screen a little while ago, and it gave me this childish excitement right in the pit of my stomach, more so when the Millennium Falcon appeared and swooped around a bit to that fanfare.
Perhaps the movie I'm most looking forward to this year.

Even today, the opening chord of the title music can do that. It’s lodged right there in my being.

No wonder FF has been all over the place. Probably explains why we haven't really seen Doom yet too.

What's the most sure-fire way to ruin the next Star Wars film?
This is.
