Oooh, an actual script! I really want this to do well just because it's likely the only shot the rest are gonna get!

DC don't know how to do good movies. Sorry. It's been downhill since Keaton hung up his cape.

I liked the first two Nolan Bat films, and thought the third was just OK. If it had been made by anyone else it would have been slaughtered. But yeah, most DC films are pants, including the animated ones.

The last scene is pretty much frame for frame from 'The Dark Knight Returns'.

At least they made a good trailer! Affleck does look silly in that other suit though

I swear I've seen leaked bits of the film where there are huge groups of protestors. Or am I just imagining things?
Looks okay but Affleck's accent was offputting. Maybe it'll grow on me.

They don't look that different to what appears in the recent video games. Problem is, that bit in the trailer with Bat's close-up really did look like a video game cutscene

As I said before, the armoured batsuit is pretty much a take exactly from Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns. And in that, the suit in question isn't about 'fighting' Superman, it's simply about Bats being able to survive in a fight with Superman to long enough for the Macguffin to take effect. And even then he barely makes it that far. Miller gets Superman right, he's an utterly unstoppable, relentless force. It's not pretty and it's not 'heroic', it's more like a man forced to take his old sheepdog out the back to put a bullet in it's head. Bats throws every trick, every device, billions of dollars and years of planning into the fight and, frankly, still gets his arse kicked. Somehow I can't imagine them doing it that way in the film.
