So I'm a lazy sod, don't want to buy much for a fancy dress outfit
I was thinking gangster as all I need to get are some red socks and shirt and braces like in Bugsy Malone
Any other simple ideas that don't require much effort?

I have the same problem apart from my dress code is already set as it’s a murder mystery night we’re going to.
I have to dress up as a karate expert – silk black trousers, tanned body, bandanna and gold chain – I already have a pair of loose fitting black cotton trousers, I’m not going topless as I don’t want to show off my man boobs so the GF has got me a white muscle T-shirt, fake thick gold chain from the joke shop, some black material from the market to make a bandanna and some dark fake tan that washes off (supposedly) which all came in for under £10. Hopefully it should be enough but I'll see what the reaction is on Saturday night.
The GF has gone OTT and hired her Egyptian princess outfit, I was hoping she would get the part of the Lara Croft character... we could have had some fun with that outfit lol

Sounds like you're doing the same murder mystery dinner we did for New Years, I was "Princess T'hooters" and my brother in law played your character (although I can't remember his name right away) my sister was "Lara Cleft" and her outfit was brilliant!!

Not buying a jacket that I'm going to wear once before it doesn't fit me again I was thinking about the Bugsy Malone style outfit as my girlfriend is going as a flapper girl and it would match

Lara Cleft.... yep that's the exact same one I couldn't think what their alternative name for croft was but your right it's Cleft.... don't tell me who "don'it" though or should you and I could come across as being very clever as well as being a karate expert

Hi. Paint one finger gold, go as goldfinger. Dye your hair green and put on fake tan, go as a carrot. Stick a fag in your mouth, go as the smoking man from the x-files. Wrap your self in brown paper, go as a parcel. Hide one arm under your jumper and put handkerchief over face, go as a one armed bandit. Dress however you like, go as T-1000. All cheap but the cheapest of them all, strip naked Put your member in your ear, go as a petrol pump. All these suggestions are of course rubbish, but I am bored.

Dress in a purple sack and go as a varicose vein .

Wear nothing, save for a pair of black gloves and a pair of black socks. You ARE the five of clubs!
