'Batman v Superman': Lex Luthor is a 'War Mongering' Vegan — Latino-Review.com

Lol, they should probably show that to the actor - he would have you believe they've got away from the comics and that his portrayal is nuanced...

Hot Rumor: 'Batman v Superman' Budget Dwarfs Upcoming 'Justice League' Budget — Latino-Review.com
http://www.latino-review.com/news/hot-r ... gue-budget

If that's true, purely in Hollywood terms, that film needs to make over a billion at the cinema. And foreign markets were the only reason MoS even made money. It's thought that it's actual profit was something like $40m bottom line IIRC.

I get that it's speculate to accumulate... but bloody hell.

How Man Of Steel traumatised me so much I created Huck by Mark Millar | GamesRadar
http://www.gamesradar.com/mark-millar-h ... eate-huck/

He's right about potential audience confusion with capes fighting each other (it wasn't brilliantly handled even in Ultron), but MoS was a bad film because it used the 'last resort' with Superman as a starting point - making his story dark. That is not what that character has ever been about in mainstream portrayals. And with good reason. Trying to give him half of Batman's upbringing? He's from a dead planet FFS. He's got superpowers. You're just not scaling that wall without the world's dullest, most expensive 4-5 hour movie...

Even recent Batman films had dark humour that made you laugh out loud or at least smile. It doesn't have to be one or the other. And, er, Millar wrote Civil War. So he should know all this better than anyone.

They'd be going well to make that particular team work onscreen - it can be cheesy enough in the comic.

Yeah, they already know this film is a POS... here's the latest 3 minute long trailer containing probably just about every major scene and character, character beat and whatever else you can think of

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fis-9Zqu2Ro

Not one bit of that looks good. And they're showing you that trailer now when the film isn't even released until the end of March.

Too many of the characters look obviously CGI in most of those sequences - and that‘s before the do the unbelievable things. There’s also THAT sub-bass noise in an explosion that has become a cliche in its own right.
