The top 30 must-see movies of 2016 | Den of Geek
http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/2016-mo ... es-of-2016Independence Day: Resurgence - Didn't give a stuff about the first one, and this one doesn't even have Will Smith.
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them - Looks good, just not my sort of thing.
She Who Brings Gifts - Sounds like a certain video game, but I like the premise and the cast.
Ghostbusters - I hate the director's previous work and... just, Melissa McCarthy.
The Purge 3 - Those films are cheap, nasty sh1t filling the space left behind by other cheap, nasty sh1te like Saw and Hostel.
The BFG - Best trailer I've seen in a long time.
Eddie The Eagle - Actually liked the look of this, which I didn't expect considering the story.
A Monster Calls - Another good trailer as I recall.
How To Talk To Girls At Parties - Think that's the first I've heard of this one...
Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk - Sounds like a curious one.
Moana - Another one I don't know much about.
Deadpool - Oh, yeah
Everybody Wants Some - Keep seeing the guy's name but I've never watched any of his stuff.
Triple Nine - Like that.
Star Trek Beyond - Really hope that brings the Enterprise back around... The trailer wasn't ST at all.
X-Men: Apocalypse - I've been deliberately avoiding the trailers for this cos DOFP was rather good.
Tale Of Tales - Er, no.
Kubo And The Two Strings - So far it looks like an indie video game.
Doctor Strange - Apparently it's Marvel's version of Fantasia for a lazy description, but I hope not. The good thing is I go in with no expectation of the character at all lol.
Warcraft - Know nothing about the game but I like the trailer.
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice - NOTHING I've read or seen of this movie gives me confidence, nothing.
Bourne 5 - Need to see something from it of course, but I'm not sure I give a crap about Bourne after so many mediocre sequels.
Free Fire - Know nothing about it or the other films mentioned.
Captain America: Civil War - Not even watching the trailer, Cap 2 is one of the best Marvel films and this is from the same team. My only fear is that Marvel start crowbarring forthcoming attractions in on top of the giant cast list.
Midnight Special - That looked interesting.
Passengers - Curious about that one.
Star Wars: Rogue One - Been deliberately avoiding all the chatter and haven't seen TFA yet, so...
Suicide Squad - Just so hopeful, but it might not even matter if the movie DCU is crippled even further by Snyder. Honestly, Michael Bay could have made a better MoS, but they're still letting him by their point guy
The Nice Guys - Liked the look of that.
Story Of Your Life - Another director whose work I haven't caught - like the premise though.
The one I most want to see there is Deadpool, strangely! At the moment it looks like they got it
so right.
Any on the list (or not) you're looking forward to?
