Pity, though equally if it got the show away from the films and stayed away, there could be a silver lining in terms of season cliffhangers.

No, it likely wouldn't have worked for a number of reasons

The cost of that show would be immense
Half the team are appearing elsewhere
It's a ridiculously big team requiring serious contracts

It's got rival news outfits at each other's throats over 'the facts'.

19 Praiseworthy Performances from 2015

I agree with 4, 5, 10, 16, 17

Haven't seen the rest but I've just started watching Rectify. I'm sure there's someone who can comment on the rest mentioning no names Ernie :)

Elizabeth Henstridge was noteworthy, and Jaimie Alexander was pretty good. The rest are either "meh" or "dunno".

Only seen Henstridge, Liev Schrieber, Cameron Monaghan, and Grant Gustin. The first three are great, but I maybe just can't see it with Gustin because I find most of the acting in Flash to really suit the show. Like, barely a fault.

It'll be a little sad to see this show go, it has been one of the best genre shows on TV since it aired.
I think I'd quite like it to have a natural, organic ending and not have an open door ready for some other producer to come in and stretch another season from it.
