I will, ta.

We have precious little to be proud of in this benighted country, so I think it's important we hang on to little things like this.

Anyway, time is all relative. 8-)

Grumpy on a Friday. Surely you've confused today with Monday. Friday is the best day of the week! :D :D :D

Depends on your point of view really. I've got a weekend of three (summer) nights to work on the north Wales coast and I finish on Monday morning for a weeks leave. So Friday sucks and just when you are all waking up to a new week on Monday, I'm going for a few hours kip before ten days off. :D

Friday is, infact, the worst day of the week. If it wasn't for Friday, the weekend would come that little bit quicker!

what country?

so If people are calling this so called "britain" out of timezone does that mean falkland islands, gibralter and the other british infected countries are "out of sync" too? or is it just foreign English that are too lazy to mark out each country (scotland, england, wales individually? ;) and Ill assume Ireland is 240 to the left too?

I'm not sure why I'm even bothering to try to reply...

It's all to do with London, which is still the capital of what was the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland last time I looked.

;)

Is it because you're one of the few left who are proud of their country?

I think you'll find that it's the other countries that are 240 miles out the other way.

As far as I'm concerned it's time to go home.

And Saturday is the best day of the week. The fact that the next day's Saturday is the only thing that makes Friday good.

Exactly. Those pesky French are to blame, I suspect.

Don't get me started on the French. Sounds like they're still retreating from Waterloo

It's because everyday is a Friday here. When the real Friday comes around it's a bit of a let down.
