It can be hard to find, haven't seen it outside of Scotland for a while now but it is gorgeous!

What the hell has my local Tesco been playing at? I've a good mind to send them a stiffly-worded email ;)

"They" can prove anything with statistics, and frequently do. The Cannabis\schitzophrenia link (noted previously) is the most classic example - deducing causality from coincidence. Its what the philosophy trade call a syllogism:

All terriers are dogs.
All terriers are mammals.
Therefore, All mammals are dogs.

Both propositions are true, but the conclusion is false.

So explain why, when there's a huge shipment of cannabis, there's a rise in the number of people presenting with schizophrenic symptoms? Or why every schizophrenic patient I have seen has used or is using heavy amounts of cannabis?

There's a causal-effect relationship with most things. What we don't understand is the mechanism by which the relationship exists.

But that is incorrect cumulative logic

The conclusion is false because none of it is previously established.

All terriers are dogs, and all terriers are mammals so all terriers are mammals

Surely the correct thing to say is:

All terriors are dogs.
All dogs are mammals.
Thus all terriors are mammals.

Same here. I prefer it over all other flavours. Though if I have a Baskin Robbins then I might try a combo. :P
