Hi all,

Since I've got two Macs now, I'm having trouble keeping data up to date, mainly stuff in the Documents folder, some library folders and iCal data.
Is there anything that can synchronise these over a local network? It's important that I don't use the internet at this stage as I have no access to the internet for the foreseeable future...

Thanks very much,
Ben

Yeah, I'm currently using rsync, but it's not selective enough...I want to be able to sync a lot of different folders (for example the Documents folder, the Adium message log folder and others) in one hit, rsync just can't do this. I've written a script but for every connection I have to re-type my password unless I generate keys between the two Macs, which is an option, just not the preferable one...

For something like this I use Déjà vu which I got with Toast 7.
You might be able to find a stand alone version of it somewhere.
