Really? I was thinking more along soviet lines! I did like the all grey one. I haven't had time to read through the actual logo thread thread, but I assume there's going to be a poll? If so, then I definitely think these should be included.

I really must get up earlier, or maybe go to bed earlier, or most likely both... (and certainly avoid going down blind alleys in pursuit of trendy 'effects' etc)...anyone who bends the rules in pursuit of a more inclusive conclusion is a gentleperson imho... Anyhoo, you're all prob'ly well fed up with me bumping the thread, so I'll let it rest till TPTB decide or a poll is put up. (fwiw, I think the red and grey should be swapped around, but even so it is rather alarming in that "fascist" fashion, rather reminiscent of Dennis donchathink?)

Let's hope you never need to change a plug round here! Live: Brown Neutral: Blue Earth: Yellow/Green Stripe It made more sense in the olden days, when Earth was green (like trees), Live was red (for danger) and Neutral was black. And let's not go into the three phase. *looks shifty because she seems to know more about electrickery than a girlie ought*

Stop looking shifty you girlie you. The colours I mentions are for installation wiring. That is the stuff in the walls not the stuff that goes to your plug. It is often known as "Twin and Earth". The "Twin" is Red and Black. The Earth is normally left bare, but you are supposed to sleeve it at the point that you connect to the socket. Often "Bi" sleeving is used but I am not sure what the regs say. I have have an memory of it being solid green.
