Heather, what's happened to your avatar? It's vanished.

Oooer.
I'll see what I can find out. It's not hosted somewhere that usually breaks.

The Sun Obligatory bad guy: This operation is sheer foolishness, and it's not happening on my watch! Mainly because I can't figure out how to adjust the time.

oh deary me, just had a very interesting conversation over facebook chat with a friend, apparently hes dumping his girlfriend of about 3 years (one of my best friends, btw) for some bitch in the year below. me being a kniving little whatnot, ive saved the entire conversation, should the need for it arise. i really hope he doesnt go through with it though, i dont think shes particularly stable atm, and i really dont want to lose her because of that dick of course this doesnt affect any of you, but i cant vent on facebook because obviously shell find out, and right now that is a no-no...ARGH!!!! :

Huh? Are you saying that if your friend dumps his girlfriend you are no longer allowed to be friends with her, or am I missing something?

no, tbh im more likely to side with her if things get ugly, but i just had to moan at someone about it EDIT: oh, that bit about losing her, as i said i dont think shes too stable emotionally atm, and i really dont want her to do something stupid if she gets depressed from what i can tell though, most of her issues are because of him anyway, so fingers crossed shell get better if the do break up (hes not the best BF, or person in general, i have no idea how they lasted so long)

Well, if he does dump her just make a point of saying hello, telling her how sorry you are to hear the news, (even if it's a lie!) and make sure you tell her that you're there if she needs a friend to talk to.
That's all you can do really...

I thoroughly dislike not being able to debug via VS for the Java stuff, because I'm not reinstalling VS 2008 just to include the java bits (installer fail) ... for that matter I dislike networking projects, too much to mess about with and go wrong On the plus side... I have a pong game where the bats move in 2 dimensions and I think the collision detection works now, need to test it when I find time... then to rewrite the server in C

hmm, ive known her for goodness knows how many years, she was so cheerful when i met her (about 2 years before i even knew the guy), i dont know whether its just because of him, but life seems to have taken its toll on her somewhat :/ but as i said, if anything does come of this (looking increasingly likely, both have talked to me about having 'relationship problems', i took the liberty of not telling either of them the other had spoken to me), im siding with her, never really liked the guy anyway im definitely going to try and keep in contact with her over the next few days, she sounded alright earlier, but she may have been covering up we might having a get-together at the guys house this friday (she lives out in a village, itd be her house of she was closer), i have very few doubts itll go by without some sort of confrontation, just praying nothing too bad happens. if it does ill probably come here and write a 4 page essay about the whole thing im being dense, are you two implying something?
