I had an odd dream last night.
It was all seen from the viewpoint of a young girl (no idea who she was, she was about 6 I think). She worked in a large room with corridors of shelves containing medical equipment and medicine, etc, as did many other young girls. The group were led by an older woman who looked like Mrs Trunchbull from the file Matilda. For some reason the girl had done something wrong and was sent home (I think all the girls slept in a room off to one side), she was dragged home by her mother, though she had been adopted by someone else. The biological mother and the adoptive mother lived next to each other and I got the strongest feeling that the girl wanted to be with her adoptive mother, although my view didn't follow the girl into her biological mothers house, I knew she was being beaten...He adoptive mother quivering next door. The the girl tried to sneak back into the medical store, ducking and diving to hide from the head woman. In the end she was caught in the bedroom and I woke up...
It was all really weird, and it's off hat I remember it even now...

Only in Foreign American English, according to the Firefox spell check. Wikipedia also says that in the proper Italian and British English, both are spelled Lasagne. Of course, maybe they're wrong. Personally, I'm not sure when you'd use the singular as such. It's a continuous dish like porridge you have portions of, rather than something discrete like eggs which you can count. Whatever, I've eaten a lot of it this week and it doesn't seem to give me weird dreams. I do get a lot of oddness in my dreams anyway, some of which are like a first person video game or live action film. It's often annoying to be woken up before I find out the ending or finish the level. *envisions an infinite plane of lasagne*

I had a weird dream yesterday. I was driving a Dacia Logan, the estate/van version. I swung onto the on-ramp of a motorway, drove down the ramp, accelerating up to 70. Then a green Foden lorry jackknifed to my left as I was joining the carriageway and disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Before I could react, there was a loud bang and everything went black. When the light "came back on," I was sitting on the hard shoulder. There was no sign of the Dacia and only the jackknifed Foden and one other vehicle was to be seen. There were 3 or 4 people milling around. There was a cop, who looked at me and tutted as I tried to stand up, then I fell back down, with my back to the crash barrier. Then the alarm clock went off. About a minute later, as I lay there next to Tina, I realised that I had died in the accident - where was the Dacia, where was the rest of the accident scene? If I had been knocked out, why hadn't I been transported off to hospital? Where were the emergency services, apart from the cop? If I had been in a Dacia and hit the side of a lorry at 70, why wasn't I injured? I must have been dead...

My dream from last night - Nothing anybody did was any good, and whenever I tried to help then that wasn't good enough for them, and I was getting more and more wound up like an angry 2 year old. I'm quite glad it's over now.

I find if I eat some Kettle Chips for supper my dreams get quite vivid. I think it's the elevated salt level that does it, because it occasionally happens with other foodstuffs, though the crisps are the most reliable dream enhancer I've found.

Been having some absolute howlers recently. Then I went to the doc and casually mentioned them. He said it was my medication and promptly changed it. Now I don't wander too far from a loo Al

Hmm, on balance I'd prefer the dreams to being dependent on facilities within dashing distance.

Really? It makes me have extremely weird ones, like I remember having a dream where I spent the entire time I was sleeping trying on different colours of wellies. :/

I had an afternoon nap earlier and I nutmegged John Terry in a supermarket, and he was very nonchalant about it.

Mmmmm... perhaps I didn't explain that very well The drugs (muscle relaxants) make the dreams you have more wierd - they don't actually give you wierd dreams Heather - it's an initial side effect that wears off but, me being me, I've still got it Al
