Hm, this seems to be a network issue, as all the failed messages are trickling (YES, TRICKLING) through now. Interestinhly it only seems to be affecting Orange and T-mobile customers. My Vodafone phone and my sister's 02 phone are sending SMS message with no problem or delay whatsoever. Everyone I know with an Orange phone however seems to be getting "sending failed" a lot, and my T-mobile phone complained that it was "unable to send" several SMS messages.

Just had a go on an HTC Hero (Android) and I really liked Android. There are loads of apps too including a free GPS fitness tracker thingy (which is my main goal )

I'll def be going for the X10 when it's out. I just want to wait for my contract to run out completely so I can get the best deal available on any network and keep my phone number.

I take it back, friends on 02 now reporting problems and trickling messages. So either just Vodafone are immune or my Codafone phone got lucky.
