Things have developed since I've been on line. It's coming thick and fast now; looks like I'm probably in for a good 12" by tonight.

Looking out the window, I am growing increasingly concerned that Other Half will have big problems getting home this evening. Zafiras are not designed for this. :(

Watching TV news footage yesterday of an AA patrol van slipping and sliding, one wonders why they don't fit winter tyres at this time of year. Really, they ought to know better. :roll:

Ain't there masking sites which allow you to log on to sites that are blocked?

There is, but most are blocked, and that's really not going to go down well. They quite like us being closed off from the big, bad world, and keeping our work safely within the office.

My boss lives out of town and has a Zafira, it doesn't have any problems with 30cm of snow. It's not the car that isn't designed for it. ;)
