Hmm, i dislike the box above everyone's posts where it used to be a bar across.

Kinda looks like it's a blank quote and a bit distracting imo.

I did this for a reason, which was that there was no clear delineation between the post and that info, without boxing it. Maybe the background colour is incorrect though.

If I use a different skin can I get the avatars on the right hand side? Took a while to get used to but I prefer them there.

+1 :geek:

Using prosilver takes everything back to how it was. No new logo though.

Hmmmm, part of the reason for moving it was because it was requested to be like that, like the old CPC forums were laid out.

If I have a half screen browser such as when I'm watching a movie as well etc. then having avatars on the right means I get to see the posts without side-scrolling.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I prefer the avatars on the left so the new look is a real improvement as far as I'm concerned.

Hey? Why does there need to be? You could just put a line underneath and be done with it.

Either that or get rid of the "post title" bit (which nobody ever uses anyway) and just have the small text under saying who the post is by and when.

Any chance of a "View Active Topics" at the top and bottom of every page?

Other than that, great!

You could swap the program windows around to get the same effect. Otherwise, I find a second monitor does the trick also (a configuration I have whilst gaming too and Firefox addons to auto refresh a page.)

Well, because otherwise you start reading it as part of the post :S

It's doable, but we can't please everyone. If there is a greater consensus about what needs changing then the changes can be made, I'm sure.

I, however don't have the last say, it's saspro's forum so he needs to get feed back from people like yourself before making changes that the whole community is happy with.

Swapping windows wouldn't get the page to open from the right though. :?

As for a second monitor, well I do most of my browsing from bed so not really an option.

I'll give this a whirl for a while instead of my usual subsilver2.

Yes, I prefer subsilver2, but I'll give the new look a whirl. I like the logo, but I think the rest of it will take some getting used to.
