The Blackberry Storm 2 has silently disappeared from Vodafone's website - well, at least it's not available to buy any more. Does anyone know why?

Well the answer from Vodafone on Twitter is... Well that was short lived, didn't it only come out in late 2009?

On a side issue. I have never used a Blackberry, I know a number of users who have been very pleased with them. (All get them free with work) What I wondered was how does their App store work? There are a number of Blackberry phones with several ways to control them, some touch, some ball and some with cursor keys? There seem to be several shapes of screen too. Are there separate stores for each style of phone or do they all share one store? If the latter how do you know that the App you want will work on your device?

Oi!! Take that back! No seriously, I have one and it is awesome. Especially the typing on the keyboard is amazing. I had it for two months now and I can't praise it enough....

You seem to be in the minority. I'm seeing complaints across the internets about it calling random people from the recently called list, the screen randomly freezing (and not recovering, having to be reset) and not ending calls (again, battery having to be removed). Apparently the browser is very slow too. It's such a shame, I was going to get one, but ended up getting the Hero instead as it got much better write-ups.

I don't know, maybe I am. If anybody is interested in Storm2 or any other Blackberry I recommend checking out this forums and a website in general. Plenty of users there you should get an idea what majority thinks... http://forums.crackberry.com/f145/

That their exclusivity for Storm2 has ended and they want to push the iPhone instead. T-mobile/Orange and O2 are going to sell Storm2. What does that tell you? http://www.phonesreview.co.uk/2010/02/0 ... mobile-uk/http://www.top10.co.uk/mobilephones/new ... lackberry/
