Some how I am not so sure that it is such a great deal for Americans. They want a public option and this does not include a public option. This could cost them dear in the mid term elections.

I am still unsure as to whether this bill is actually appreciably better than what they had before.

I think it is, since part of what it does is rap the insurance companies very firmly on the knuckles, the majority of Americans would have health insurance if it weren't for the fact that the companies invalidate their insurance pretty much the minute they get sick, they also have unfair acceptance criteria and lists of exclusions a mile long.
Health insurance in the US is a way of life, it's not expensive and there are a number of "assessment" levels so people on low or no wages pay nothing. I lived there for 4 years, it took me nearly 2 to get accepted for insurance and I was working fulltime with no regular health complaints. The majority of people there I've spoken to think this is a brilliant solution to the problems they face.

If it actually is an improvement then this could be very good. I now hope that the electorate will reward those that voted for it.

This guy is insane!I think ti's a very good thing for america. At the same time i don't really care. I never got the feeling that they are a real country as Americans don't care for one another. Maybe the country should just be split

Yes he is Hold on this is the US economy he is talking about where average wages have not risen in more than ten years and the only way people coped was that they were able to cash in on their homes value. Where the stock market spent a decade in the doldrums. Where tourism has slumped because of excessive security policies. Where banks control their regulator and they are insolvent. He clearly is deluded.
