If they want to increase monthly debits or reduce minutes then you should be able to walk away and they should be obliged to open that contract handset as well, so you can go to a PAYG deal if you want.

Stuck in work, in Belfast. Yeah.
There was a nice sunrise this morning though.

Quote:
Going forward, it will be very interesting to see whether Three's bottom line is affected now users no longer have the option of signing up for tariffs and SIMs at either of the UK's major independent retailers.
Quite often Three's contracts stack up very well against the likes of O2, Vodafone and EE, especially in the unlimited data department.
It seems the other major players will be happy to see Three depart from those arenas given the network's plans to offer 4G LTE data plans at no extra cost.

I bought mine online so never worried about the lack or existence of a store. It was only last week that I discovered my first Three store so it might not be a problem. Ultimately though it might actually mean problems for phone resellers like Carphonewarehouse and Phones4U as people can look online and each network has its own chain of stores. Then add in comparison sites and what benefit are independent phone shops apart from the contribution they make to TV comedy?
