We're getting really behind on films. There are so many now that have totally passed us by and we've started actually reading the listings at our local film-house to see what's on and decide how caught up we want to get. Really looking forward to the new Star Wars, Avengers - Age of Ultron, Mad Max - Fury Road, Minions and Terminator - Genisys I think I would also quite like to see the Marigold hotel one (the first one) and 'Wild' but I suspect I'll be watching them alone

Feedback from the other half: After seeing Prometheus and Exodus I have decided that any film with a name ending in 'us' is crap

It was OK. Wish I hadn't wasted money watching it 3D at the cinema

I can't even remember a thing about it! And that's not like me when it comes to films. It's a real curio in terms of reception though - big hit financially, got little press attention at all, mainstream critics found it to be Marmite, general public seem to think it's average going by the review aggregates

Pontypool is an odd little confection. I thought it was going to be all welsh accented and ghoulish, turns out there is a Pontypool in Canada and they have a slightly different angst!
Watched on LoveFilm. My crapfilm-o-meter is maybe set a little lower than yours, but I found it intriguing and different enough from similar fare to watch all the way through.

Saw "Ender's Game' last night. Not particularly impressed. It looks very good and the elder statesmen (Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley) do their jobs well but the film has lost pretty much all of the important themes of the book. They even partly chicken out on the major twist.
Not sure a faithful adaption would have made a successful film to be honest, but I think this is one of those cases where if you can't do it right, don't do it at all.
