Hot girl in the garage when you were filling up by any chance?

I have left the handbrake on when pulling out from a traffic light junction because a group of scantily clad uni girls crossed the traffic lights one hot summers day. It wasn't until I had managed to get round the corner that I realised why the car was so slow.

Apart from the scantily-clad uni girls bit, I used to do that all the time in my old Carlton automatics. The handbrake on those cars was completely useless, and I never used it in anger. The garage that serviced the car always parked it using "P" and the handbrake. I'd wonder why it was a bit sluggish driving away...

On the Zafira here, in order to ensure the handbrake light goes out, it has to go right down to the floor, which requires me to lean. Silly design, if you ask me.

I can drive off with my handbrake on and not notice at all, until I spot the light on the dash.

If you combined all the Lego minifig parts ever made, you have 8 quadrillion combinations.

Leaving a bike outside in -10 while its snowing is an awesome way to turn it into an ice cube. Gears and brakes were frozen solid

I remember the last time we had a bad snow (maybe two years ago now, when it got down to like -10 in city centres) I had left my car parked on the road. It ended up covered in a thick blanket of snow, which apparently then partially melted and froze. A couple of times. The result was when I came to clear the snow off it, my entire car was literally encased in ice. I mean the car looked like somebody had poured a thick layer of resin all over it that had then set. Never seen anything like it. Took it about four days to thaw out to the point where I could open the doors...
