Can I take a minute to post some solid facts here, folks? Lindburgh was a member of the Dennis forums before the big split, and was kinda famous for posting lots of handy hints, about pretty much everything in life, if I remember correctly. I actually sent him a PM last week about that very same post, and he did reply, giving the recent death of MIchael Jackson as an example... apparently he didn't like some of the comments that he had read on this forum. I shall give some consideration to my reply before posting it to him, but in the interim can I politely ask that if you don't like what the guy says, slagging him, (or anyone else) off either here or on any other forums is just going to make us look like a bunch of pillocks, so please... think before you post. I was not criticising Lindburgh. He has every right to say what he wants. There were bound to be a few comments about Michael Jackson, who to put it mildly was strange.

I remember finding a few of those quite handy. There was a link to an enormous reference page he wrote, interwoven with a few jokes. I laughed quite a bit (at the jokes), but that's just me

oh, id never heard of him before. I think its a bit unfair to judge an entire forum based off of one thread, about a man who was much ridiculed by the general public during his life. Some of the comments were over-the-top, but its still a drop in the ocean.

Stupid reasons really, I think it was more to do with personal reasons but since I was contracting they didn't really have to give proof. Just clicked and I was gone.

I think the attitude you display in your posting in first of the day threads speaks very well of how you are compared to when you were in teh UK though - top marks man.

I've had to go through the logs to see who was putting which naughty search requests in on a large Intranet, so they would appear on the home page popular searches list ......... A couple of very promising careers got badly blunted ..............
