Following the "indent" question. I am curious, what size do you have your icons set to on your desktop. I know on OS X I can select between 16x16 all the way up to 128x128 pixels.
Curiously on my smaller (laptop) screen I like bigger icons because they make a easier target when using a trackpad.
So for me it is 60x60 on lappy and 36x36 on the iMac.
So how big do you like yours? Tick the nearest.

In Finder click the View menu then View options. There you can adjust icon size spacing text for icons etc.

Surely other OSs allow you to change the size of the icons?

Any idea what pixel count that equates to? I am a little surprised, one of the big benefits of Windows has to my mind the fantastic amount of customisation that it allows the user to do. Usually just a right click away. Still Small, Medium and Large is cool too. Sorry about the lack of Pie (I forgot )
