   | But you got it wrong, it is why do Skodas have heated rear windows? _________________

   | The problem, though, is that Skodas now have an enviable reputation for being well-made and reliable. Unlike their parent company and Toyota._________________My Flickr | Snaptophobic BloggageHeather Kay: modelling details that matter. If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

   | My Mum had one of the old Skoda Estelles, with the rear engine pawned off Fiat in the 1960s. I used to borrow it occasionally. It was a nasty piece of work. Changing gear was like stirring a bucket of marbles with a wooden spoon. There was a steel bar across the driving seat right where your coccyx is, making it extremely uncomfortable. Mum used to keep a couple of paving slabs in the front to stop it making like a kangaroo over bumps. _________________My Flickr | Snaptophobic BloggageHeather Kay: modelling details that matter. | I originally heard it as a Lada joke..... but it was because you can't drive it to be recalled incase you have a sticky accelerator (oh noes, all the lazy people driving a manual and cant use the clutch!)_________________TwitterCharlie Brooker: Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults; computers for scaredy cats too nervous to learn how proper computers work; computers for people who earnestly believe in feng shui.

   | I've just spent half the afternoon sorting out a series of local events for the NHS Smoke Free Service. Ironically, after the stress involved in dealing with the muppets running it, I now really want a cigarette. Useless, the lot of 'em. I can now understand why the NHS costs so much to run. Mindless bureaucracy anyone?
