The quality of the films being made is the thing that's made me watch less films.

There's still a lot of quality films being made, you just have to look that little bit harder to find them if what's readily available to you isn't fitting the bill any more.

I only really enjoy Japanese post-apocalyptic lesbian cat-girl bondage science fiction. I've not seen a good film for ages

True Romance tonight. They don't make 'em like they used to! Looks nice upscaled as well, which is always a plus.

I would say I watch more now, I appreciate the direction, production and editing more than I used to as well.

I tend to watch less tv films though and more rened/bought dvds too, more to do with the same crap being shown I guess.

I think it depends on the game. Since MW2 came out, it's taken a large portion of my free time and certainly I was busy with arkham asylum too. Consequently watch a lot less TV. I'll still try to watch my fave progs and catch my fave films on TV. But as for cinema, the last film must've been Transformers 2. Maybe The dark knight before that. I tend to watch mainstream blockbuster films at the cinema with anything else either bought on dvd or I don't bother. Even when it comes on TV.

I don't watch less films; I watch fewer films. ;)

It's not because of games.

It's because the films are crap.

I still watch lots of films tbh. Thats an activity I can do with the missus (at home or at the cinema) so counts as 'quality time'. She doesnt watch the soaps so we can easily fit a film in.

Playing games on the otherhand is a solo activity so I'll do it when she's out or in bed, etc.

[pause]....[thinks]...

A bit like masturbating.

+1 to all that, and you don't know how many times I read the subject title and thought 'There's something wrong with that, I know there is'. Before clicking submit anyway

As I pay for Sky movies anyway I frequently put on / sky+ films I've never heard of. My logic being if I don't like it 'll turn it off. More often than not I really enjoy them.

Not really into video games, they're all too samey for me.
