Canon EOS 550D Inc 18-135mm and 55-250mm IS Lens Kit for just £168.98
Does the 'site have to honour this price? I've ordered one and my mate's ordered two. (8+)

No I don't think they do, not if it's an obvious mistake, which this obviously is, I mean who the hell would pay that much for a Canon?

It's not obvious to me as I've no idea how much Canon stuff costs.

Neither do I, but it's still pretty obvious Mark. I read something about it on 'Which' magazine's website a while ago, they don't have to honour it I'm sure.

That's very recent because they were in stock when I made my order.

I think that the rule is that if it is clearly a wrong price then no they do not have to accept it. Though once they have accepted it then technically they do.

We are not obliged to accept your order.

Description and price of the goods
We make every effort to ensure that prices and descriptions of goods shown on our website are accurate at the time you place your order.

The price of the goods will be as shown on the checkout page of our website when you placed your order. We will charge you this amount.

You must also pay a delivery charge for the goods as indicated on our website at the checkout page.

In the unlikely event that the price shown on the checkout page is wrong, and we discover this before accepting your order, we are not required to sell the goods to you at the price shown. We always try and ensure that the prices of goods shown on our website are accurate, but occasionally genuine errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods that you have ordered we will let you know as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel your order and you have already paid for the goods, then you will receive a full refund

short answer no they dont have to sell you the goods at that price

If the order isn't accepted at the checkout, then when is it?
[/wishful thinking]

I would love to know how many orders are placed until someone notices on Monday morning.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Same here. If by some miracle dabs does honour the order then I'll bet they'd lose thousands.

Have you thought about them possibly deducting the correct amount for the camera from your card?
