I have an order confirmation e-mail stating the £168.98 price, so they can't just take out the "correct" amount from my card without notifying me first. Mark

If by some miracle it does come through I'll sell it and buy some decent Nikon glass. However if it does come through I reckon the market would be awash with them.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I once saw a Canon Ixus 60 camera priced at £60 on ebuyer instead of £160. It was an obvious error but went ahead to see if it would work. I got the camera and at no point was I told the price was incorrect. A day or two after payment had been taken but before delivery, the price was corrected.
Essentially, until they have posted the item, they can cancel the order.

The most likely things to happen are:
1. They cancel the order, you get an email saying it was a mistake, sorry.
2. They suspend the order, inform you that it was a genuine mistake and offer it to you at the full price, less a "goodwill" discount.
3. Nobody notices until after dispatch... You are laughing.

Perhaps if they were already in stock and had been processed, Mark may be lucky.

As a matter of interest what would the correct price be?

It could easily be 1k+ with two lenses.

Body only price for the 550D is £799. Somehow I doubt they'll be in a rush to honour any orders placed at the lower price.

Yeah but what are the chances of them even realising there is a problem with this batch?
Now they have all sold out so quickly it will probably be noticed, but I reckon any orders placed while they were still in stock have probably been dispatched.

I dunno I ordered a 360 from the Microsoft online store when the arcade was being sold at £65 instead of £165 because of the package, got a call saying they would honour is but I'd have to wait, said it was fine (as I already had a 360), got it the next day Ordered one for myself, probably wont get it, but if I do it'll be a nice treat EDIT: clicky seems it should be 10x that price, ordered another one now to give as a gift to my dad/sister (both keen photographers) and as the play.com offer seems to be a pre-order, maybe the dabs bundle is too

Play.com do the same bundle for £1200ish, but it's OOS and a pre order out end of march Bunged my order in, they can't charge the full amount for one anyway even if they wanted to And went via quidco for 3% cashback if it is accepted

I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one. I won't order one now, because I doubt very much they'll honour it if they notice. If I thought for one minute that they'd go to April and then ship them at that price even after noticing the error then I'd order one, but if they notice, there's no way they are going to ship them out at £168, IMHO.
