Anyone done this recently?

I was just on the BBC News website and it asked me if I wanted to fill out a survey so I clicked yes. The questions:

1. Age
2. Ethnicity
3. Location (georgraphic)
4. Location (home/work etc)
5. How often I visit the "Nick Robinson" blog

WTF are they asking me that for? Seems quite useless to me.

There's to be a lot of restructing at the BBC to anticipate the Tories trying to undermine it for that nice Mr Murdoch, the downturn etc. Might be part of that, though I still don't think the questions are really relevant...

It's not for you. It's so the nosey parkers at the Beeb can ensure they're hitting the right demographic with their audience.

Do you honestly expect Murdoch to not demand his pound of flesh for supporting the Tories?

You lie down with a lion for long enough someone's bound to get bitten.

I prefer the you lie down with dogs and you end up with fleas. Just as appropriate.
