Greatest ever (non-computer) game
There have been 76 nominations. All games using playing cards (52) have been listed under one entry.
The groups for the heats have been randomly selected by Excel, so if all your favourites are in one heat.... tough. Round 1 will have groups of 5 or 6 in each heat. Round one is purely to sort the wheat from the chaff. You get two votes each and the top three go through. If you only want to use one vote (or none for that matter) you can. In future rounds you'll only get one vote.

I enjoyed Lost Valley of the Dinosaurs as a child, but it's no good for adults. I'll have to think about my second vote though.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I can remember everything except that weird thing you can do swapping a queen and a bishop (or something to that effect).

Castling. If the king and a rook hasn't moved then in one move you can move the rook up to the king and jump the king over the rook.

Chess and Dominoes here. Not sure what the other games are.
Castling can be good in chess. I also like 'en passent'. Sneaky pawns.

I chose Chess and Dominoes. Everyone can play dominoes even kids. It doesnt really need language either or much of an explanation.
