Driving, owning a dog, or both?

Both. He was certainly not thinking of the safety of his dog.

Burning car does bring up other issues like how do you drive around with the car on fire. Or as Sid Snot would say "Whose going to steal a burning motor?"

If you take the dog for a walk with a wheel barrow that does defeat the objective of exercising the dog. But that might be County Durham logic?

You sit in the wheelbarrow and have the dog pull you along ;)

In that part of county durham I'm surprised he wasn't having sex with the dog or eating it, it's like deliverance with council houses down there.

Yes but if he can get a dog to wheel a wheelbarrow along with him in it, he should get the dog on Britain's Got Talent! :o
