Morning.

It's been a while since I was up this early. Still, I'm now about to set off to become a temporary wage slave. Needs must when there's no income...

Other endeavours continue, but this will help to put food in our mouths. It's not as if Best Beloved's pension can't cover that, but it's a matter of some personal pride to be able to pay my way in the world. I wasn't born to be kept.

Anyway, have a glorious day. I shall see you much later on, I suspect!

*wave*

Morning all,

Feeling slightly better...

I had my appraisal yesterday, and it was all very positive... except for the comment about having to learn to put aside personal differences with my "colleague"

Still waiting to hear what the score is regarding bonuses, which should be interesting.

Anyway, that's enough from me for now.

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Morning all.
It's colder than yesterday but it's my wedding anniversary today so at least I'm going out for dinner tonight.

Should be another dull day apart from that.

Lo peeps

I'm feeling a little wazzed off this morning after taking a days holiday to travel through to Aberdeen for a visit to the Maxiofallical unit (sounds dirty eh?). Faffing NHS decided not to replace the consultant in Elgin so I have a 140 mile round trip to sort out my mouth (that should have been fixed twice before). 12 minutes!!!!! Yup, 12 minutes I was in there and I have to go back next week  probably for another 12 minutes. I have now experienced both the good and bad sides of the NHS.

Happy Anny Mr Sas and well done Mr V for keeping your cool. We have a colleague in the office and nobody gets on with him but management insist that we all 'put our differences' aside and work together in harmony (that's management speak for 'we don't want to have to actually deal with this as it will create work and make us look incompetent').

Coffee - very strong coffee required now......

Al

Morning all. Anyone got any sellotape I can borrow? Need to send this hardware up to Preston, and it needs to be sealed before they'll let me shove it on the flight, but I has no sellotape! Boooo!

Indeed. Work is thin on the ground here too. I'm now having to look at selling my collection of comic book art to get some cash in. Not happy.

Still, hope everyone has a good day. Midway through the week and all that.....

Morning.

Yesterday was a bit of culture shock, but the folks I'm working with are nice enough. Pity I can't take my iPod in, though. It would help to pass the hours a bit quicker. What am I doing? The kind of work most of us would prefer to turn up our noses at, I suspect. I'm one of lots of agency staff at a logistics company that deals with clothing for a lot of big stores. I'm currently working in the returns department, which means opening boxes of unsold clothes and shoes, checking labels against shipping notes, and checking the clothes for damage. Fun, huh?

Think of the money...

Right, time for breakfast.

Catch ya laters!

Morning all. Another cold one, although the ice wasn't too bad on the car.

Anyway, have a good day folks.
