Its that time of year again anyway. Though rates ares simply too low. They will not solve the problems of banks solvency if they still rely on volatile overseas money. If the exchange rates move to fast against the hot money then they will move it out of the UK and the banks will be insolvent again. The alternative is that they offer much higher interest rates to attract the hot money. That will mean that interest rates will rise.
