Have you customised your mobile? To what extent?
When I got my rather funky Nokia 6233 a few years ago, I loved it to bits and I customised everything I could. Every group had a different animé ring and message tone, I had different photos for various people who called and a video ring tone here and there.
I loaded it up with all my favourite photos, music and videos. It had practically everything I wanted on there. It was my little toy and I loved it to bits. The DVD resolution video camera and playback was actually better than my old Sony camcorder, and even on speaker the sound was surprisingly strong.
Then it got recalled and I was issued an "upgrade" to a 6300. Although in many ways a better phone, it's a much worse toy and I just could not be bothered to customise it. The video sucks big-time and It just didn't feel like "mine" - it just felt like work.
I now have another new phone, but yet again it's the indestructible business standard 6300 that absolutely everyone has. I've chosen one of the default themes and a couple of the more mellow default ring tones, but that's it. I've not even bothered putting my 2GB SD card in because I just can't be bothered.
I may get around to it one day, and maybe I'll love it a little more when it's full of Japanese school girls and EBM. However, I'm probably getting an iPhone in the next year or ten so I'm not sure I can be bothered. Heck, I've not even put a sticker or a dangly thing on it.
So, phones. How do you eat yours?
One thing in particular; has anyone totally themed their mobile? For example, I've thought about taking one series and using it as the basis for the wallpaper, screen saver and all the alerts. I'd probably use SE Lain, but something like Blake's 7 or Night Garden might be cool.

As it came, and proud. I had 20 minutes off the boat to get a new one, ran to a shop and asked for the cheapest unlocked phone they had. Ran back to the boat, changed the SIM and plugged it in. Voila.

My phone came with two themes, black or white. Black was the default one and I kept using it as the white one looks arse! For ring tones, I edit down music (MP3's) from my music collection. My current ring tone is part of Fat Boy Slim - Weapon Of Choice. I've customised the four arrow keys to, read texts, write text, set alarm and call log. I wanted to have flight safe mode as a short cut, but that wasn't an option for some reason.

My phone is silent. Always. I did style my old one with a nice "Thumb woz 'ere" screensaver, which looked lovely until the LCD gloop went everywhere.

I'd forgotten that bit! Yep, the first thing I thought was "huh, the shortcuts are wrong!" and changed them. I have GoTo, Camera, Calendar, Text, Directory and "Last URL" which is always my Gmail.

When I had my Sony Ericsson K750i, I did a fair bit of customisation. When I had the K800i I managef to get my hands on a theme creator and had the Punisher theme for the display. Apart from my iPhone, every phone I've had has had a customised wallpaper and ringtone - either paid for or created by me.
The iBone, as far as I'm awarr, requires jailbreaking before I can customise it the way I want and I am not willing to do that. Yet!

I have a background that came with the Hero, though I am considering changing it to something from Digital Blasphemy.
Otherwise I have changed the audio alerts and ring tone, that's it.

Got a few ringtones set up, and I change the home screen picture. That’s about it for me.

I use one of the default themes that it came with but I added my own wallpaper (my baby), changed the clock from analogue to digital and chose a different ringtone (although this is still one that came with the phone).
I think I'm passed all that phone customisation stuff.

Picked ring and message tones from the ones on the phone. I refuse to pay for tones. Such a rip-off. There are a couple of novelty tones on there that I downloaded free from the providers website but that's about it. I haven't used any of them as a ring-tone for more than a few minutes.
