Skype out phone numbers

On my Windows boxes I've entered a friend's phone numbers into Skype which means I can ring and/or text her phones as well as chat using Skype itself. I've just installed Skype on the Macbook and I can't see the phone numbers. Has anyone else seen this?

What version of Skype is it on the Mac? I'm not sure about the Mac version, but the Linux version of Skype is several versions behind its Windows equivalent...

They're completely seperate applications, or at least the Mac & Windows clients are.

Can you not just go under the "Contacts" menu and select "Add a Contact" - there's an option to add a phone number there...

Thanks for the responses everyone.

The problem is that I want to add a phone number to an existing skype contact, which I can do on the PC & iPhone; but not the Mac.
