Greatest ever (non-computer) game
There have been 76 nominations. All games using playing cards (52) have been listed under one entry.
The groups for the heats have been randomly selected by Excel, so if all your favourites are in one heat.... tough. Round 1 will have groups of 5 or 6 in each heat. Round one is purely to sort the wheat from the chaff. You get two votes each and the top three go through. If you only want to use one vote (or none for that matter) you can. In future rounds you'll only get one vote.

Boggle and Dungeons and Dragons for me by a country mile.
The Game Of Life is truly one of the worst things I have ever encountered.

I've played and enjoyed the Game of Life, mostly whilst drunk which makes everything seem funnier, but my votes go to Boggle and D&D both of which are great!! I miss D&D very much

Kerplunk, D&D.
I've played game of life and enjoyed it at the time. But looking back on it is it a good game, probably not.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I voted D&D. I've never played the original, but I regularly play games that came after. It was one of a very few games which defined a genre. It was definitely a "great game".
